Day 3// Dahlia Collection Giveaway!

Written by
Floret

IMG_9065Today is Day Three of Floret’s “Five Days of Giveaways” party to celebrate the launch of the new online Shop.

Yesterday’s lucky winner of the Cafe au Lait Dahlia collection is: Julie Clausen. Congrats Julie!

As part of the celebration, I’m giving away another gift from the Shop:  This time around, I’m offering  your choice of one of our new Dahlia collections.

Over the years I’ve grown and tested over 400 different dahlia varieties, looking for cultivars that meet a strict set of criteria: disease resistance, durability in bad weather, strong stems, clear coloring, consistent flower form, a long vase life and most importantly a high stem count. I’ve whittled down my list of top performers and these collections represent some of my all-time favorites, grouped in complementary color collections.

sunsetdahliafinalFloret’s Sunset Dahlia Collection: This collection is comprised of of my five favorite bold colored varieties in shades of rich velvet red, deep russet, warm terra cotta, mandarin and tangerine. The collection includes one of each of the following varieties: Cornel, Jomanda, Intrigue, Valley Rustbucket and Maarn varieties.

sunrisedahliafinalFloret’s Sunrise Dahlia Collection: This collection is comprised of of my five favorite warm, sunny blooms in shades of ochre, champagne, tangerine, amber and gold. This collection includes one of each of the following varieties: Crichton Honey, Ginger Willow, Maarn, Suncrest and September Morning.

sherbetdahliafinalFloret’s Sherbet Toned Dahlia Collection:  This collection is comprised of my favorite sherbet toned beauties in shades of salmon, coral, ballet slipper pink, champagne and peachy gold. This collection includes one each of the following five varieties: Robin Hood, Snoho Doris, Bracken Rose, Crichton Honey and September Morning

To enter to win your choice of one of these dahlia collections, simply add a comment at the end of this post. In your comment, please share which dahlia color collection is your favorite. The winner will be announced here tomorrow along with our next giveaway!

A limited quantity of these dahlia collections are available in the new Shop.  If you plan to give one as a gift this holiday season, we have gorgeous gift certificates that you can personalize and print for your loved one.

*Please note, this giveaway is open to U.S. residents only. (So sorry international friends —they can only be shipped domestically.)
