She later joined the team and for the past 8 years has helped bring Floret’s ideas to life. Jill lives and gardens in Bellingham, Washington, with her husband and two children.
A self-taught photographer and videographer, Chris Benzakein’s images depicting Floret’s farm and flowers have graced the pages of major magazines and reached a global audience via Floret’s popular online shop and social media channels. Prior to working on the farm full time, Chris worked as a mechanic and helicopter pilot. He now manages Floret’s day-to-day farm and online shop operations alongside his wife, Erin.
A writer and editor of lifestyle content, Julie Chai is the editor of Floret Farm’s A Year in Flowers. She was also the editor of Floret Farm’s Cut Flower Garden, and her work has been featured in Martha Stewart Living, Better Homes & Gardens, San Francisco Chronicle, Gardenista, HGTV, and Sunset Magazine where she was the senior garden editor.
