Shipping & Delivery

How we ship

We ship all orders to the U.S. and Canada via USPS. You can select your shipping method at checkout. 

International orders are shipped either via USPS International or DHL International, depending on the availability of a shipping service to specific countries. View available shipping methods at checkout. 

Our team ships Monday through Friday (excluding holidays). Orders placed will typically ship the following business day. During our busy seed sale times, your order may be delayed. Any current shipping delays will be communicated at the top of the cart page. You will receive a confirmation email when your order ships with tracking information.

Shipping carriers experience delays depending on the time of year or other circumstances. We will fulfill your order as quickly as possible, but cannot guarantee delivery times.

Shipping cost

Shipping cost is automatically calculated at checkout based on the items, weight of the shipment, and carrier rates. You can view the shipping cost after entering your address information and selecting the shipping method in your cart before checkout. This cost is set by the carriers (USPS and DHL).

Combining orders

Once an order is placed, it is printed immediately and then put into our order packing queue. Unfortunately, because of our small team and the volume of orders we are processing in a short time, we are unable to combine separately placed orders or modify an order once it’s been placed. 

Adding or removing items from an order

Because we cannot access your credit card information, we are unable to modify your order after it has been placed. 

Canceling an order

If you need to cancel your entire order, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number. Your order number can be found in your order confirmation email. We are unable to cancel or remove individual items from your order.

Returns & refunds

Seeds

All of the seeds we offer in our shop are of the highest quality and are tested frequently to ensure excellent germination. We guarantee that our seeds are viable and true to type. For best results, please read our Seed Starting resource. We have found that many seed-starting problems can be remedied by setting up a proper seed-starting area before sowing any seeds. Using high-quality potting mix and providing adequate amounts of light, water, and consistent temperatures will be critical to seed-starting success.

If your seeds do not perform after following our detailed instructions, please contact us immediately and we will happily send you replacement seed if available, or refund the purchase price. Our guarantee is limited to the purchase price of the seed only; shipping costs are non-refundable. Floret is not liable for any damage or loss resulting from crop failure. Reports must be made within 2 weeks of discovering the problem and within 1 year of purchase.

Tools, supplies, & books

If items are damaged in transit or you receive an incorrect order, please contact us and we will replace them.

Due to their custom nature, our tools, supplies, and books are non-refundable unless your order arrives damaged or incorrect.

Gift card redemption

Gift cards purchased from the Floret Shop can be redeemed in the “Gift card or discount code” field at checkout.

Missing or lost packages

Tracking information is emailed once your package ships. You can find the most up-to-date information by clicking the link in your shipping confirmation email.

In the event that your package appears to be missing or lost, please contact us after checking with your local carrier.

Received the wrong product or missing a product

If you received the wrong product or are missing a product from your order, please contact us and we will correct the error.

International shipping

If you are placing an order from outside the United States, it is your responsibility to understand your country’s restrictions, duties, and any special requirements in order to receive imported goods. If your country restricts packages based on the value of the contents, you must ensure that each order you place is within this limit. If you wish to order seeds or products that exceed that value, you should place separate orders, each within the limit.

Floret has no control over additional fees and is not responsible for confiscated items, delayed orders, or any additional duties or taxes that may be imposed by your country’s customs office or other government agencies.  

Packages returned to Floret due to a failure or refusal to pay the duties or taxes are ineligible for a refund of shipping fees and will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.

Floret offers worldwide shipping of signed books, tool belts, and other supplies.

We wish we could send our seeds all over the world, but unfortunately due to new export restrictions beyond our control, we are only able to ship them to the U.S. and Canada, with the exceptions noted below. If you put any of these prohibited items in your cart you will be unable to check out. We are unable to ship seeds to Australia due to import restrictions and disruptions in the USPS International mail service. We hope to be able to offer this again in the future.

Due to export restrictions, we are unable to ship the following seeds to Canada. This list is subject to change as export restrictions vary:
