Columbine

Written by

These darling treasures are making their grand debut in the garden this week. It’s so exciting to finally have something coming on outside. It seems we are weeks behind in the blooming schedule and we are all so grateful for any snippets of bloom and life.

With all of the cool temps and rain many of the Columbine are topping out around 4ft. in height. Huge thick stems loaded with delicate blooms resembling upturned ladies in their full petticoats.

Today we will be setting out the first Zinnias and later in the week all 400 of the Scented Geraniums. Slowly we are making a dent in the overflowing greenhouse of seedlings :) My word of the week is progress.
