As a reward for working so dang hard, last week I ordered a brand new 50mm 1.4 lens.
I haven’t splurged on anything purely for myself in a long, long time.

It is the carrot I’m using to help coax myself to finish the season out strong. A reminder that the off season will come and in it I will have all the time in the world to learn new things, experiment and expand.

So far, I am thrilled with how beautifully it captures the flowers.

Who knows, with this new and improved gear we may soon be catching little glimpses of  fairy’s curled up in the blooms.
