drove to the beach today in sideways rain and wind. awful weather for an outing but we just needed some fresh ocean air in our lungs. the park was closed for the season so we snuck under the fence and had the entire place to ourselves.
the low tide left hundreds of little starfish stranded on the sand, so the kids spent their time dashing back and forth rescuing the little treasures. a day to remember for sure.
