As Floret’s Production Director, Jill Jorgensen works side-by-side with Erin to create Floret’s award-winning publications, products, and educational resources. Jill has a background in writing, event planning, and floral design and was the first florist to buy blooms from Floret. She later joined the team and for more than 10 years has helped bring Floret’s ideas to life. Jill lives and gardens in the Pacific Northwest with her husband and two children.
CHRIS
BENZAKEIN
A self-taught photographer and videographer, Chris Benzakein’s images depicting Floret’s farm and flowers have graced the pages of major magazines and reached a global audience via Floret’s popular online shop and social media channels. Prior to working on the farm full time, Chris worked as a mechanic and helicopter pilot. He now manages Floret’s day-to-day farm and online shop operations alongside his wife, Erin.

A writer and editor of lifestyle content, Julie Chai is the editor of Floret Farm’s A Year in Flowers. She was also the editor of Floret Farm’s Cut Flower Garden, and her work has been featured in Martha Stewart Living, Better Homes & Gardens, San Francisco Chronicle, Gardenista, HGTV, and Sunset Magazine where she was the senior garden editor. A fan of dahlias, salvias, and grasses, she lives and gardens with her husband and son in Los Altos, CA.
