Floret Autumn Event Preview

Written by

The garden is still awash in a sea of color as we inch towards autumn. Even though many of the annuals that we planted in early summer are starting their slow decline, the dahlias are still going strong, pushing out wave after wave of brilliant blooms. For a peek behind the scenes, be sure to check out my recent farm update post

Meanwhile, our inbox has been flooded with so many questions, some of the most popular being: When will you be re-stocking seeds? When will bulbs go on sale? How can I sign up for your next online workshop?

We have so many exciting things in store this autumn and I can’t wait to share all of the details with you in the coming weeks. Until then, here are key dates to put on your calendar:

WORKSHOP SCHOLARSHIPS: We will be accepting scholarship applications for the 2019 Floret Online Workshop September 10-18th. You can read more here.

FALL PLANTED BULBS: Limited quantities of specialty tulips, narcissus, ranunculus, anemones and fritillaria will be available online starting on September 24th at 8 a.m. PST.

CALENDARS, PLANNERS & SEEDS: Our beautiful wall calendar and daily planner plus a selection of fall-sown flower seeds, including hardy annuals and sweet peas, will be available online starting on September 24th at 8 a.m. PST. Our full line of seeds will be available starting January 2, 2019.

FALL MINI COURSE: This free 4-part video series will kick off in early October. We’ll send out more information very soon or you can pre-register here.

FLORET ONLINE WORKSHOP: Information on our 2019 Online Workshop is now available on our website and enrollment for this comprehensive 6-week course will open October 11-16th.

HOLIDAY GIFTS & SEED COLLECTIONS: Our beautiful curated gift collections, greeting cards, paper goods, tools and seed collections will be available online starting November 13th. These limited edition gifts are perfect for the flower lover in your life.

DAHLIA UPDATE: We won’t be selling dahlia tubers this year, [read more about our decision here] but we plan to share a list of our favorite mail order suppliers in early December.

SEEDS: Our full line of over 200 varieties of specialty seeds will be available online starting January 2, 2019.

Want a pretty printable version of this upcoming event calendar for your refrigerator or office?

Please note: Floret products typically sell out quickly. If you have your heart set on something, be sure to note these dates and also use our “Email When Available” feature in the Floret Shop.

I’m excited to share more soon. Stay tuned!
