This extra special amaranth provides a striking backdrop to a garden bed or a dramatic addition to large-scale arrangements. Its long, chartreuse green tassels add texture and combine beautifully with both bright and pastel color palettes. Amaranth is easy to grow and is a great choice for beginning gardeners.

How to Grow
Start seed indoors in trays 4-6 weeks before last frost; transplant out after all danger of frost has passed. Amaranth can also be direct seeded into the garden once all danger of frost has passed.
Harvest when the tassels begin to elongate and remove most of the foliage so the colorful ropes are more visible. A vase life of 7-10 days can be expected.
