New Press & Resources for growing great flowers and great businesses

Written by

I know that a lot of Floret followers regularly check this space for information and inspiration about growing great flowers. The team and I have got a lot of fun and informative posts to share in the coming weeks and months.  Even though this space has been a little quieter than planned because it’s been an all hands on deck month getting Floret Seed orders out the door, I did want to share some stories and content I’ve created for other sites that will hopefully provide for some interesting winter reading:

Design_Sponge_FloretOver on Design*Sponge, I just wrapped up my three-part series for their Life & Business column.

The most recent piece:  Tips for Using Social Media to Tell Your Story and Build Your Brand  builds off of previous posts which included: Being the Face of your Business & Growing a Great Team

Garden Tribe, recently featured Floret in their Talking with our Tribe series. In the interview I share some of my favorite varieties, what’s on my winter reading list and a list of my epic gardening fails.

Gardenista, the great garden design and outdoor lifestyle site, recently highlighted  Floret Seeds including some of our “showstopper flowers, fillers and foliage” as part of a story on the best seeds of 2016.

CBS Radio News broadcasted a story by Fran Sorin, author of Gardening Gone Wild .  Listen above:

Finally, it was such a thrilled to be included in this month’s Living magazine, featuring past Martha Stewart American Made award winners.

I wanted to write and thank you for introducing me to Laura Casey’s Powersheets for planning. It’s a wonderful process and feels so familiar to my gardening soul. Planting seeds and then tending to them. I so appreciate your transparency and willingness to share, you are amazing and inspire me very much!

    Erin,
After seeing your feature in Martha Stewart’s Living magazine, I felt so inspired that I have committed myself to starting my own backyard cut flower garden! Thank you for being such an amazing inspiration and invaluable resource!
